Laundry Day

At my house, Sunday is laundry day. There's something comforting about the hum of the dryer, something soothing about the smell of fabric softener on clean, warm clothes. From September through January, the sounds of the washing machine and dryer are accompanied by the sounds of football on TV. Laundry Day is a day to reflect, to rest, to reset. We are safe. We are warm. We are healthy. We are cozy. We are together. We are blessed. We have everything we need...and so much more.
